Due to the close contact and extended duration of our treatments, masks are still required during phase 3 of BC’s reopening plan. If you have a mask please bring it with you and put it on BEFORE entering the clinic. We will provide you with one if needed. Please arrive on time for your treatment. Our reception area can only accommodate 2 people while adhering to physical distancing.

*NOTE: You will be required to complete a COVID-19 Risk Assessment Questionnaire 24 hours prior to your arrival. This will be emailed to you. This must be completed before your appointment. Please reschedule your appointment if you have any signs or symptoms of cold or flu, or if you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days. We have temporarily suspended our cancellation policy for those who are feeling unwell.

As of July 1st 2021 there are some updates to our clinics Chiropractic fees. Fees are as follows; initial assessments are now $100 (40 minute assessment) and follow up appointments are $65 (20 minute follow up), $80 (30 minute follow up) or $100 (40 minute follow up).

Di Adams is a registered massage therapist and the founder of Garibaldi Active Wellness. Prior to becoming a massage therapist she completed a diploma in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition in Australia and spent 8 years working in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Her focus was sports related injuries and exercise prescription during pregnancy. In 2005 she completed a 700 hour massage and bodywork program at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage. After working for 3 years at a world class spa in Whistler BC she completed the 3000 hour RMT program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in Vancouver BC and became a registered massage therapist. She has a passion for education and has previously taught massage therapy in both Whistler and Vancouver BC. She has experience and enjoys working with a wide variety of people with different conditions but takes a special interest in all levels of athletes and sports related injuries. Her goal is to provide her patients with immediate symptomatic relief while also treating the cause of the problem to help with future management of the condition. She has called Squamish home since 2005, and when she’s not in the clinic you will find her out on the trails mountain biking or trail running or spending time with her family.

Lori graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster and has been practicing in multidisciplinary health clinics since 2013. She believes in taking a collaborative approach between patient and practitioner and working with the best combination of physical activity and therapists to empower patients to manage their health and wellbeing. Lori uses in-depth assessment of movement and muscular coordination with Neurokinetic Therapy to provide lasting results for patients with both acute and chronic pain and dysfunction. In summertime, Lori can be found out on some of the many mountain-bike trails in Squamish, hiking, or hanging out by a lake. During the winter she’s more likely at home reading and crafting, or at the indoor climbing gym. Dr. Kyla Drever has been studying holistic practices since 1995. She began with a certificate in Shiatsu Acupressure from Sourcepoint Shiatsu in Vancouver, BC. Her curiosity about the human body and its energetic influences led her to a certificate in Thai Massage (Chang Mai, Thailand), a diploma as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Vancouver, BC), and continuing education in CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute) and Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute). She has completed the highest level of registration exams in TCM entitling her to the Dr. TCM designation which entitles her to practice both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbology. Her extensive educational background in various modalities allows Kyla to look at an individual from different perspectives and enables her to offer treatments specifically designed for the issues at hand, be it mechanical, organic, or energetic. Jon Israelson is a graduate from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapists in December of 2014. Growing up in Jasper AB, Jon started competing in freestyle skiing at an early age. This translated into Halfpipe and Big Mountain skiing, competing on the world tour and traveling all over North America. Doing so, Jon is no stranger to injury and has a great passion for resolving pain and dysfunction with a variety of modalities. Taking a full body, systemic approach to his practice, while combining the efforts of both the patient and therapist, allows for an optimum environment to resolve musculoskeletal, circulatory, nervous tissue and joint pathologies. His devotion and dedication to health and fitness go beyond the clinic, as he enjoys spending his free time weight training, mountain biking, golfing, climbing, hiking and fishing. He also enjoys reading and trying out new cooking recipes with friends. While growing up in the Greater Vancouver area Dr. Rylee Stephens developed a strong affection for the outdoors and sporting activities. This love for sports and being outside led her to Calgary where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and then on to Portland where she completed the Doctor of Chiropractic program as well as a Masters in Sports and Exercise Science Degree. Rylee loves to work with athletes of all types, from the elite, to the weekend warriors, and the new mama juggling a baby, stroller and dog. Her treatment approach utilizes joint manipulation, soft tissue therapy, and strength and conditioning to improve functional biomechanics with the end goal of getting patients pain free and back to enjoying their favourite activities. Dr. Sophie Tran graduated from the University of British Columbia Kinesiology program and continued to pursue her education in Portland, Oregon where she completed both a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree summa cum laude and a Master’s of Science in Sports Medicine degree from the University of Western States.

Sophie grew up in Vancouver and has been a long-time track and field athlete, running with the UBC Thunderbirds as an All-Canadian student athlete. She has always been interested in the biomechanics and efficiency of human movement and has been fortunate to work in a variety of sport environments with athletes of all ages during her time in Portland and now in Vancouver. Sophie strives to provide patients with the opportunity and tools to achieve their goals. She believes that everyone is an athlete in their own right and uses a detailed, patient-centered approach to support patients in reaching their health goals. She advocates for team-based multidisciplinary care to facilitate the best possible outcome for her patients.

Sophie’s tools include functional movement-based assessments, manual adjustments and mobilizations, soft tissue manual therapy, shockwave, movement rehabilitation and exercise. She loves working through a variety of musculoskeletal issues, ranging from desk and postural related pain, to sports injuries, to prenatal and postpartum related pain and dysfunction.
